Tilton’s new mechanical release bearings are designed to be a direct replacement for OE bearings, providing increased reliability and wear resistance as well as smoother engagement characteristics. Three bearings are available:

• Ford Mustang (1979-2004) – compatible with Tilton 7.25″ 2-plate cerametallic racing clutch/7.25″ 3-plate metallic racing clutch (P/N 62-063)

• BMW 5-speed E36/E46/Z3/Z4 – compatible with Tilton 7.25″ 1-plate cerametallic racing clutch/7.25″ 2-plate metallic racing clutch (P/N 62-021)

• BMW 5-speed E36/E46/Z3/Z4 – compatible with Tilton 7.25″ 2-plate cerametallic racing clutch/7.25″ 3-plate metallic racing clutch (P/N 62-020)

All the new mechanical release bearing assemblies are press-fit and feature a 44mm contact diameter bearing with included collar.
