99T 5.5 Aluminum Bellhousing Kits with Sport 5.5 Clutch meet the requirements of racing series that do not allow magnesium bellhousings while providing the value of Tilton’s lower cost 8-leg Sport 5.5 clutch.
The lightweight and rigid aluminum bellhousing provides maximum ground clearance and features an easy access side-bolt mounting system for the starter. Unlike other bellhousings on the market, the transmission no longer needs to be removed in order to service the starter. The value-packed Sport 5.5 clutch and small diameter 99-tooth cover-mount ring gear provides a low inertia and maximum reliability.
