OT-215 8.5” Metallic Clutches are primarily designed Drifting, Off-Road/Buggy, Track Day/Pro Touring car applications.  Compared to the equivalent number of disc 7.25” clutch, OT-215 8.5” Metallic Clutches provide approximately 50% more mass for increased heat capacity to keep overall clutch temperatures down, while providing higher torque capacity and better modulation.

Open, one-piece clutch cover design provides lower operating temperature, high strength and minimal deflection for quick shifting. Chrome vanadium diaphragm springs and an engineered pressure plate geometry provide a high clamp load-to-wear ratio, low release load, and quick shifting. High-strength steel is used in both the pressure plates and the floater plates. .182″-thick friction disc withstands elevated temperatures while providing low inertia and excellent wear resistance.Every Tilton OT clutch is dynamically balanced to ensure the highest level of performance. Each OT clutch is individually inspected for proper assembly and balance, and initialed by the quality personnel as confirmation.
